I'm going to be running some extra gymnastics workshops and training sessions starting in a couple of weeks. They'll be open to students, residents and X-Team members, anyone who wants to come and work on the basics. It improves muscle tone, reflexes, and co-ordination among other things.
If anyone is interested I might do the same for parkour. It's not something I would suggest taking it up without some ground work unless you like getting a lot of bruises and breaks, so I'd be willing to demonstrate the ropes if that seems like something any of you would be into.

After classes on Friday Mr. Kierney and I are running a football try out/practise session. Everyone is welcome to come, it's going to be pretty informal. As yet we're not sure if we'll be having a mixed team, or one team for the boys and a touch team for the girls, it depends entirely on interest. Even if this isn't something you'd usually do, I'd urge any student who feels the slightest interest to come along, you might surprise yourselves.
That's 5pm. Friday.
Extra weightlifting sessions will be set up in the next couple of weeks too, but there'll be more on the schedule at a later date.

Brazil vs. Cote d'Ivoire has to be the most exciting match so far, for all the wrong reasons unfortunately. At least it was better than hearing about the appalling way the French camp is handling their WC campaign.
Who feels like a friendly kick around? Staff vs Students for a soon-to-be-determined prze?

Starting next week we're rotating outdoor field sports in PE on a bi-weekly basis. As usual if you have any problems with these sports or medical concerns don’t hesitate to come to me and we’ll figure something out. This won’t interfere with Athletics, we’ll be picking up track and field in all grades when the weather gets warmer.
Lacrosse Baseball (possibly interchanged with Rounders) Basketball Field Hockey American Flag Rugby (Freshmen & Sophomores) American Football (Juniors & Seniors)
If any girls are interested in Netball come and talk to me or drop me a comment here. It’s not a sport that’s on the syllabus currently, but it’s a great, challenging game and I’m happy to run extracurricular sessions, all grades.

Everyone who has just woken up and is finding it difficult to move or walk try not to worry and try not to force yourselves too much. After two months of immobility your muscles are weak and borderline atrophy, it will likely take a couple of days before you're back to your old selves at the least. I'm making the rounds right now to assess you, but as long as you keep moving gently you should be fine.
I'll leave the medicating to Dr. Langkowski and Val, but I'll have heat packs and tiger balm on hand for treating any muscle aches and pains you might be having if you strained something waking up.
Try not to panic. You're safe now, we're going to take care of you.
